• As most of the locations in Baten Kaitos, the name Sadal Suud is derived from a star: Beta Aquarii, a star in the constellation of Aquarius, which traditional name is Sadalsuud, an arabic expression meaning "luck of lucks". Note that the correct spelling is "Sadalsuud", but the place in the game is called "Sadal Suud".
